Act 1: The Awakening

It all began with a sudden awakening, a return to consciousness in the most unusual of places. A young boy opened his eyes to discover himself lying on one of the most comfortable seats, bathed in the soft amber light emanating from the suspended lamps on the ceiling. The carriage he found himself in was enchantingly beautiful, adorned with intricate patterns embedded in the red leather seats.

However, what troubled the boy was the fact that he couldn’t recall how he had arrived there or even his own name. His memories seemed to have been wiped away, leaving his mind in an abyss of uncertainty. He searched for clues to understand what was happening.

His gaze settled on his left wrist, where a finely engraved metal bracelet caught his attention. The inscriptions seemed to form a name: “Grand General Xin.” Yet, this name was strangely unfamiliar to him. Astonishment overcame him, mixed with a hint of unease. Why did he bear the title “Grand General Xin”? Who was he really?

He decided to rise and explore the extraordinary carriage. As he moved along the aisles, he discovered that this train was unlike any other. It floated above the rails, creating an illusion of levitation, and moved in silence, as if it weren’t governed by the laws of physics. The sight was breathtaking, a fusion of technology and magic.

But it wasn’t just the train that was exceptional; it was also the passengers. Strange and magnificent creatures occupied the seats, each resembling a warrior in all their splendor. Majestic wings, shimmering scales, and mysterious auras characterized them. The boy wondered if he had stumbled into a fantastic dream.

He decided to engage in conversation with one of these creatures, a winged being with golden feathers. “Can you explain to me where we are?” he inquired, hoping to get answers to his questions. The creature offered a smile but remained silent in response, leaving the boy with a sense of bewilderment.

The boy attempted more conversations with the passengers, but he was met with vacant stares and responses that seemed to dissipate into the ether. The passengers appeared absorbed in their own inner worlds, further isolating him in this mysterious journey.

Sitting in a corner of the carriage, uncertainty overwhelmed the boy. He had to uncover the truth behind his amnesia, his title of “Grand General Xin,” and the purpose of this extraordinary voyage. A mysterious adventure was unfolding, and he was determined to unravel the secrets of the fantastical world that surrounded him.

Act 2: Through Exotic Mountains

The train journey continued, carrying the young man through majestic mountains with breathtaking landscapes. However, what truly captured his attention were the exotic elements that stretched as far as the eye could see. Enormous waterfalls of a mystical violet hue cascaded down the mountain slopes, creating a breathtaking spectacle. It was as if nature itself obeyed different laws, foreign to those of Earth.

Through the window, he observed floating villages suspended above rivers, connected by elegant translucent bridges. At times, small craters dotted the ground, emitting a gentle glow that gave the landscape an otherworldly atmosphere. The vegetation was equally extraordinary, with trees sporting bluish and sometimes silvery foliage, phosphorescent flowers, and strange creatures darting among the bushes.

Yet, perhaps the most astonishing aspect was the reaction of the other passengers on the train. They seemed entirely at ease in this environment, as if all of this were perfectly normal for them. Their faces showed neither surprise nor wonder at the fantastic landscapes unfolding before their eyes.

The young man, on the other hand, was entranced by the surreal beauty that surrounded him. He felt like a stranger in this world, an outsider among inhabitants who seemed to belong to this place. He couldn’t understand why he was there or how he had become involved in this adventure.

Determined to unravel the mystery that surrounded him, he decided to venture further into the train. He climbed the stairs to the fifth floor, discovering an even more stunning landscape. Up there, terraces opened up to grandiose panoramas, where he could gaze at the mountains and the floating villages from a unique vantage point.

However, what intrigued him the most was the destination of the train and the reason why he was on board as “Grand General Xin.” He felt a deep curiosity mixed with a hint of unease. The mysterious adventure that had begun with his awakening on the train was continuing, and he was determined to find answers.

Act 3: Encounters

As the train travels through futuristic and dazzling landscapes, the young boy attempts once again to converse with the other passengers, each carrying their own mystery. Agios, one of the passengers, turns to the boy as he walks among the creatures. “Hey! Care to join us for a drink?” he says, gesturing to Antée, a giant by his side. Both men appear to be sculpted from stone, towering figures with an aura of strength and wisdom. Still in shock, the boy hesitantly responds, “Uh, hi, guys! No, it’s fine, thanks.” Agios and Antée have an air of friendliness despite their imposing presence and engage in conversations about their battles on the battlefield.

Agios: “We didn’t scare you off, did we?”

Antée: “Haha! I think he just woke up!”

The two giants are incredibly friendly and discuss their past battles.

Agios: “After all those battles, we’re finally heading back to our haven of peace. It was about time…”

Right nearby, there’s a particularly strange passenger, an intriguing creature clad in sparkling armor. It’s a kind of centaur with a horse’s body and a man’s torso. The creature introduces itself as Nessora, and despite its unique appearance, it exudes warmth and hospitality.

Nessora: “Greetings, my friend.”

The boy strikes up a conversation with Nessora, curious about their destination.

Boy: “Hey! Can you tell me where this train is headed?”

Nessora reveals that they’re on their way to their home, the city of Harmonia. The mere mention of the city conjures images of harmony and beauty in the young boy’s mind.

Intrigued, the boy asks his new companions about the planet they are on.

Agios: “We’re in Nexustar, a world where possibilities are endless, where dreams and reality intertwine.”

Curious, he poses another question: “By any chance, do you happen to know my name?”

Agios: “Of course! Your story is known here. You are General Xin, an Earthling banished from the planet Earth.”

The young boy is completely bewildered by these revelations, and too many questions swirl in his mind…

Act 4: The Powers

After the conversation with Agios, Antée, and Nessora, Xin continued to walk through this never-ending train, soaking in the diversity of passengers and the incredible mystery surrounding him. As he moved through several carriages, he encountered countless warriors. Some were laughing, others were eating, and some were sleeping, creating a living tableau of life aboard this extraordinary train.

Driven by curiosity, Xin eventually reached a counter where he decided to pour himself a glass of water. It was at this moment that Xin made a startling discovery: when he instinctively tried to catch his fallen glass, he made it levitate and return to his hand without even thinking about it. The water droplets danced in the air before settling back into the glass, as if he had the power to command gravity itself.

Xin: “This is incredible… How is this possible?”

Excited and eager to understand how to use these powers, he had fun moving various objects around him. He lifted utensils, napkins, and even a few chairs, making them swirl through the air with ease. His mastery seemed to grow with every moment, and he felt that he had barely scratched the surface of what he was capable of.

Then, Xin headed to a terrace on the train’s fifth floor. As the landscape rushed by and the wind whipped his face, he decided to test his newfound powers on a larger scale. He focused on a distant, imposing tree and concentrated his will on this improbable target. The tree lifted from the ground, floating in the air like a feather, obeying Xin’s will. He could rotate it, move it, and even make it spin as he pleased.

Xin couldn’t believe it. For a moment, he thought all of this had to be a dream.

He gently placed the tree back to its original spot. However, the leaves of this tree were exceptionally beautiful, prompting him to keep a small blue leaf to slide into his pocket. Such a unique color for a tree he had never seen before.

Xin was in the process of discovering his extraordinary potential, a power that seemed to be an integral part of himself. Xin realized that his journey on Nexustar was shaping up to be even more amazing and mysterious than he had ever imagined.

Act 5: A Strange Dream

Chun’s day began quite ordinarily, at least until she was awoken by the shrill sound of her alarm clock. The young woman lazily stretched, her arms still heavy with sleep.

She groaned, attempting to fend off the insistence of the dawning day.

When her mother barged into the room, her face expressed clear impatience. Chun’s eyes squinted in the early morning light, and she struggled to sit up.

Mother: “Chun, it’s time to get up. You’re going to be late for university again.”

The dream world, where everything seemed possible, slowly dissipated as Chun fully woke up. She shook her head to dispel the remnants of her strange dream that haunted her. She had trouble recalling the details, but a sense of oddity lingered in the recesses of her memory.

Chun: “Mom, I had a really weird dream.”

Her mother, accustomed to her daughter’s dreams and desires, shook her head in indifference.

Mother: “Dreams are always strange, honey. Hurry up; you don’t have time to dwell on that.”

After a quick breakfast, Chun resumed her morning routine. She headed to the bathroom, the warm water reviving her still-drowsy senses. As she brushed her teeth and washed her face, she delved into her memories of the dream. The image of that tree with blue leaves came back to her, an image that defied all logic.

After freshening up, Chun returned to her room to get dressed. It was then that a gentle warmth took her by surprise, emanating from the pocket of her pajamas.

Intrigued, she touched the fabric and found something small and delicate. A tiny blue leaf, much like the one she had seen in her dream. Chun froze.

Chun: “This is impossible… this leaf. It was in my dream.”

A question gnawed at Chun’s mind: how could an object from a dream find its way into the waking world? This discovery stirred in her a sense of curiosity and wonder.

Was the dream she thought had ended now blending with reality?
